Antonio Tente Obituary
TENTE, Antonio A., 92, of Seekonk, died peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at South County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Hilda J. (Martin) Tente. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio A. Tente and Aurora (Bento) Tente.
Mr. Tente worked as a machine operator with American Insulated Wire for many years until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a former member of the Pawtucket Elks Lodge.
He leaves his four children: Anthony M. Tente of Cranston, RI Theresa M. Adams and her husband David of Bastrop, TX, Thomas F. Tente of Seekonk, MA, and Joanne A. Clukey and her husband Ralph of Bradford, RI. Loving grandfather of Natasha Goyette of Taunton, MA, Michael Tente of Cranston, RI, Maggie Clukey of Bradford, and great-grandfather of Penny Goyette. He was the brother of the late Joseph Tente, Arnold Tente, and Alice Tente.
A private committal service with full Military Honors was held in the chapel of Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.H. WILLIAMS & Co. FUNERAL HOME.
