Barbara Saunders Potter died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
Barbara, the daughter of Leroy and Pearl (Fiske) Saunders, was born on August 30, 1928 in Seekonk, Massachusetts and spent the last 25 years in Concord NH.

Barbara was employed by the Town of Seekonk as a school bus driver before moving to Concord. She also drove bus for Concord Area Transit before taking a position in the membership department of WEVO, the New Hampshire Public Radio station. Barbara was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Charlotte Sankey and her husband Paul, Contoocook, her sons, Stephen Potter and his wife Joyce, Warwick, RI, Lester Potter Jr North Providence, RI, Douglas Potter and his wife Linda, Seekonk, Mass.  

She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Debra Marcou and her husband, Bud, Donna Sankey, Stephen Potter Jr, Timothy Potter, Kimberly Potter, Katie Potter, Brian and Tara Potter as well as her great grandchildren Heather, Jonathan, Zack, Kelsey, Cody and Damien. Also surviving are her brother Milton Saunders, Barrington RI, her sisters, June Allsop, Clarksville, FL, and Patricia Furey, Attleboro, MA.

Calling hours will be held Saturday January 4, 2014 at 1pm, followed by a memorial service at 2pm in the J.H. Williams & Co. Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence RI.

Burial will follow in the spring at the Thomas Cemetery, Swansea, Mass.
