Olson, Mary F., 72, wife of Kenneth R. Olson, passed away on Feb. 23rd. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Madeleine (Heron) Quinn. Mrs. Olson was a member of Saint James Lutheran Church in Barrington. She was a former PTA member, Girl Scout leader and belonged to the Svea Lodge # 362 in East Providence. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter Tara Wallace, (husband Frank), 4 granddaughters; Stephanie, Brooklynne, Linnea, Madeline and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, at 10:00 AM in Saint James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington, followed by interment in the Rumford Cemetery, Rumford, RI. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 PM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts may be directed to Little Rhody Vasa Park, C/O Linda Johnson, 43 Holden St., Warwick, RI 02889.
