Patrick Paul Carey

Patrick Paul Carey, 33, of Sutton, MA, died Monday, September 4, 2017. Born in Providence, he was the loving son of David E. Carey & his companion Billie-Jean Simas of Warwick and Margaret (Barna) Pemberton & her husband William East Hampton, CT.

Patrick worked as a machinist with Buck Brothers of Milbury, MA. He loved kayaking, hiking, and spending time at Beavertail in Jamestown.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his loving sisters, Stephanie A. Carey of Providence & Victoria L. Frear of Sutton, MA. He was the cherished grandson of Nancy Carey of Seekonk & the late Paul Carey and the late Michael & Stephanie Barna.   He also leaves his aunts & uncles: Jim & Rachel Garvin of East Providence, Mike & Diana LaJoie of Seekonk, John Barna, Sr. of Burrillville, Gunther Barna of Sandy, VT, Christine Desourdy of Perry, FL, Susan Barna of Fayetteville, GA, George Barna of Burrillville, Peter Barna of Waterford, CT, Michael Barna, Jr. of Burrillville, Arthur Barna of Burrillville, & Alfred Barna of Warwick.

Relatives & friends are invited and may call on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from the hours of 3:00 to 5:00 pm at J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. A private family funeral service will follow. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Save The Bay Center, 100 Save The Bay Drive, Providence, RI 02905 will be appreciated.
