COVILL, Shirley J. (Taylor), 92, of East Providence, died peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Covill, Sr. Born in Herkimer, NY, she was a daughter of the late Ernest A. Taylor and Ruth H. (Nabinger) Taylor.
Mrs. Covill was a Homemaker and member of Haven United Methodist Church for many years.
She leaves her loving children: Charles E. Covill, Jr. of East Providence, Stephen J. Covill of East Providence, Deborah J. Chadwick of Pawtucket, and Donna J. Covill-Webb and her husband Richard of Riverside. Cherished grandmother of Gregory Chadwick of Pawtucket, Lindsay Chadwick of Pawtucket, Nathan Covill of Seekonk, MA, Jenna Covill of Rocky Hill, CT., and great-grandmother of Chase. She was the sister of Warren Taylor & Barbara Taylor of Pawtucket and the late Ernest Taylor, James Taylor, & Donald Taylor. She also leaves her two loving nieces, Beverly Bell of Warwick and Janice Bowman of Alabama.
Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 am in J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives & friends are invited and may call 10:00 to 11:00 am prior the service. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Haven United Methodist Church, 200 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914 will be appreciated.
