Carol Elaine Porter

Carol Elaine Porter, 63, of Attleboro, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.  Born in Providence, she was a long time resident of Seekonk until moving to Attleboro several years ago. She was a daughter of the late Leslie E. Porter and Elizabeth Comey. 

Carol was a graduate of Seekonk High School. She was an employee of Shaw’s Supermarket for many years and then Big Brother/Big Sister before retiring last year. Carol was a faithful employee and was very proud of her career. Carol had remained very active in her retirement and loved life. Carol was a very active member of the corner club. She was an avid roller coaster fan and was a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts. 
 

In these 63 years Carol had the opportunity to meet many amazing people. You have all impacted her life in a positive way. To all the caregivers, and many others who worked with Carol with compassion, love and respect. Thank you for your friendship, laughs, memories, and your kind words. She valued each of you.
She was a lifetime member of Seekonk Congregational Church where she attended Church every Sunday. Her faithfulness and love to god was matched by their faithfulness and love to her.
 

She is survived by her loving sister, Barbara J. Porter of Taunton and her loving cousin Karen M. Porter of Warwick.
 

Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00 am in Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Avenue, Seekonk.  Burial in Spring Vale Cemetery will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Seekonk Congregational Church will be appreciated.
