Daehler was a remarkable human being... and my conference minister for 6 years. I am all the better for having served with him. My condolences to Joy and all of his loved ones.

I met Dr D Hayes in Lamardelle, Haiti in 1990 while he was in a mission trip. He inspired me to keep studying until I came to USA. To complete my studies. His inspiration has motivated me greatly! I will never forget him. My prayers go to all whom this lost has affected.

Rev. Joy and family,
We have so many joyful memories of Daehler at Beneficent Church working with our youth, guest preaching, advocating for the Haiti project and helping us to build a creche for our living nativity in the church parking lot in Downtown Providence. We were blessed to have known him and our family will miss him greatly. Love and peace to all. Irene & Walter Hope and family.
