Warren W. Carpenter

Warren W. Carpenter, 97, of Seekonk, died peacefully on July 31, 2019 at the Branches of North Attleboro.  He was the loving husband of the late Harriet A. “Hattie” (Chillingworth) Carpenter.  Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur H. Carpenter & Helen R. (Woodbury) Carpenter.

A survivor of Pearl Harbor, Warren proudly served in the U.S. Air Corps from 1940 to 1945.  He was a recipient of the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.  In his earlier years, he was employed as a civilian aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Navy at Quonset Point, RI until his retirement. 

He leaves his nephew, Jack Correia of West Bridgewater, MA, his dear friends Priscilla & Joseph March of Ormond Beach, FL, and his cousins John Woodbury of New Hampshire & Donald Brown of Indiana. 

His Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 12th at 12:00 noon in J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, Route 44, East Providence.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Seekonk Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Beacon Hospice, 182 North Main St. Fall River, MA 02720 will be appreciated.
