Albert Livesey Obituary

LIVESEY, Albert, 86, of Fall River, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 7, 2016.  He was the beloved husband of Margaret H. (Foley) Livesey for 60 years.  Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Albert Livesey and Ethel (Farrar) Livesey.

Al was the manager of the former Marshall Electric in Fall River for many years until his retirement.  He worked as a bartender at Chick’s Café, Sons of Italy, and as a waiter at the Assonet Inn.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army and with the Army National Guard for 20 years.

Besides his wife, he leaves his loving daughter, Colleen M. Johnson of Fall River and his grandson, Logan Livesey of Cranston, RI.  He was the father of the late Linda Ann Livesey and brother of the late Gladys Loftus, Dorothy Rebello, and Margaret Hague. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives & friends are invited and may call on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence.  A Committal Service, with full Military Honors, will be held Tuesday at 12:30 pm in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to his nephew, Andrew J. Correia.
