Amanda Victoria (Reis) Ali

Amanda Victoria (Reis) Ali, 66, of Harvard Drive, East Falmouth died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Falmouth Hospital. Born July 27, 1951 in Providence, Rhode Island she was the daughter of the late Amario and Irene (Roderick) Reis.

Growing up in East Providence, Rhode Island, Amanda attended the East Providence School system, graduating from East Providence Senior High School, Class of 1971. In 1981, she settled in Cape Cod, Massachusetts where she raised her children. Amanda was a devoted Mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. Despite life challenges, she was a happy, kind and caring person. She also was blessed with the gift of gab. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and watching television.

She is survived by a daughter, Jaala Reis and her companion Steven DeGrace of East Falmouth, a son, Salim Ali of East Falmouth, a sister, Brenda Rocha of East Providence, Rhode Island. three grandsons, John Glover Jr., Keijhon DeGrace and Steven DeGrace Jr., one granddaughter Kianna DeGrace, a great-granddaughter Jayde Glover, a nephew Anthony Rocha and a host of relatives and friends.

Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 12 noon in St. Anthony’s Church, 167 East Falmouth Highway Rt 128 East Falmouth, Massachusetts.
