Angel Marie Azulay, 37, of Riverside, RI, beloved daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and most importantly mother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 6, 2020. "Our lives are not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." Angel shared many of those moments with all who knew her. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late William Jr & Barbara Azulay.
Angel was a lifelong resident in the city of East Providence (Riverside). She worked as a CNA for many years before receiving her Medical Assistant Certification and was employed by East Providence Walk-In and the East Bay Community Action Program.
Angel was cherished and will be forever remembered by her precious children Eric and Kelis Parsons, Matthew Hanson Jr, and Aria Azulay Aponte. Angel is survived by her brother, William (Billy) and his daughter Alycia, her brother Steven, his wife Christine his three children Shana, Connor, and Madeline, her sister Crystal, brother-in-law Michael and their daughter Jocelyn. Her sister Sabrina, and her two daughters Sarah and Deviana. Angel will be fondly remembered and missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Friends & family are invited to a celebration of life that will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private.
