Ann L. (Gablinske) Mowry

Mowry, Ann L., 80, of Parrish, FL, formerly of Seekonk, MA, passed away Sunday, June 21 at Blake Medical Center.  She was the beloved wife of Roger P. Mowry, Sr.   They were married for 59 years. Born in Providence, RI, she was the  daughter of the late William H. and Annie C. (Thiele) Gablinske of Bristol, RI. She worked at various retail stores, enjoying being a homemaker and collecting dolls.  She volunteered at Seekonk Congregational Church and was a Girl Scout leader.  She leaves a daughter Deborah Collins, husband Jeffrey, son Roger Mowry, Jr, wife Karen, grandchildren: Julianne, Jordan, Annmarie, Adam and Laura Collins, Jessica Taravella, Valarie Bigos, Sarah, Anna, Katlin and Lucas Mowry and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother William F. Gablinske.  Calling hours will be Monday, 6/29,  from 5 – 7 pm in the  J.H.Williams & Co. Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, 6/30 at 10:00 AM, in the Seekonk Cemetery, Newman Ave., Seekonk.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ann’s memory to Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Ave, Seekonk, MA  02771.
