Arline T. (Tanner) Butterworth

East Providence

Butterworth, Arline T., 93, wife of the late Hubert Austin Butterworth, died, on March 22, 2015.  Born in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Clara (Manchester) Tanner.  Mrs. Butterworth was active in the East Providence P.T.A. and was a member of the National Congress of P.T.A.  She also was a member of the National Camping Travelers Assoc., a Masonic family camping group, and the East Providence Historical Soc.  Mrs. Butterworth leaves her sons; Gary A. Butterworth (wife Lesa) of So. Kingstown and Roger H. (wife Pam) Butterworth of  Foxboro, MA, granddaughters; Nicole Leary (Husband Jason)  of North Attleboro, Lauren, Amanda and Brittany Butterworth of  Foxboro, and great grandchildren; Kaiden, Sophia and Gracie Mae Leary of No. Attleboro.  A celebration of Arline’s life will be held on Friday, April 17’th, at 3:00 PM, in the First Baptist Church, 21 Baptist St., No. Swansea, MA 02777.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the church.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence.
