Blanche L. Richmond

Blanche L. Richmond, 91, of East Providence, died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 2, 2020. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Richmond. Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late A. George Olson & Ingeborg L. (Anderson) Olson.

Mrs. Richmond worked in the school lunch program for East Providence public schools until her retirement. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and member of the Svea Lodge #362 Vasa Order of America.

She leaves her loving daughters: Sue DiFruscio (Joseph) of Seekonk and Beth Richmond (Gail) of East Providence. Cherished grandmother of Dawn DiFruscio (Armando Botelho), Laura DiFruscio, & great-grandmother of Gianna Botelho. She was the sister of Shirley Bateson, Ellen Zawislak, Kenneth Olson, and the late George Olson, & Robert Olson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 11:00-12:00 pm in St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington. A Memorial Service will follow, beginning at 12:00 pm. In

lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to RI District # 3 Scholarship Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME.
