Calvin N. Johnson

Calvin P. Johnson, 70, of Cranston, died peacefully on August 1, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Angelice (Brown) Johnson.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Calvin N. Johnson and Alice (Cosmo) Johnson.

Calvin was employed as store manager of Burlington Coat Factory and Ames of East Providence.  Upon retirement, he worked part time with Stop & Shop.  He was a graduate of East Providence High School Class of 1973 where he played varsity football. 

In addition to his wife, he leaves his sister, Dolores Jones & her husband Dennis of Middletown, NY.  He was the brother-in-law of Kevin Brown & his wife Michelle of King Prussia, PA, Vernon Brown & his wife Waqueta of Atlanta, GA, and Tinita Fields of Aliquippa, PA.  He also leaves many nieces & nephews.

Private services were held in the Home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence.
