Charlene M. Ross

Charlene M. Ross, 69, of Mapleville, RI passed away on Saturday morning, March 1, 2025, peacefully at home with family by her side. 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, George Ross, who passed in 2020.

Charlene leaves behind her devoted daughters Jennifer Robertson of Whitinsville, MA; her daughter Melissa Beland and her husband, Dave, of Harrisville, RI; and her daughter Sarah Ross of Mapleville, RI; and her sister Jeanne Pimental of Harrisville, RI.  Charlene was predeceased by her parents, Gilio and Yvette (Tousignant) Altomari and sister, Marie Picard. 

She was an adoring grandmother to Matthew and Ryan Robertson, Hunter and Cassie Feuti, Hayley Savoie, Madison Lavine, Chace Beland  and to her great grandchildren, Alaya, Zachary and Daloris. 

Family was everything to Charlene. She was so proud of all her children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Family gatherings were most special to her. She loved being together on holidays as much as backyard bbqs and gatherings catching up, dancing and laughing.  She was a dear friend to many and loved her dog Daisy.

Charlene worked for many years at her parent’s business, Yvette’s Discount Shoes in Slatersville, RI and retired from Walmart in Putnam, CT. 

Charlene will be loved and greatly missed by everyone who knew her. 

Service details have been respectfully omitted. A celebration of life will be announced for a later date.
