Comfort Oye Boadih

Comfort Oye Boadih, 74, of Rumford, died peacefully on July 28th, 2025, at Miriam Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Comfort was the loving wife of Ebenezer Yaw Boadih.  Born in Mankrong-Mampong, Ghana, she was the daughter of the late Ithiel Ansah Asamoah and Mercy Budu Asamoah  

Mrs. Boadih was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Steere House in Providence for many years.  She was a member of the Barrington Presbyterian Church, an avid supporter of Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Rhode Island, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving children: Fiona Leo-Mensah and her husband, Theo, of Johnston; Yvonne Boadih-Dwumah and her husband, David, of Rehoboth; Eugene Boadih and his wife, Michaela, of Woonsocket; and Remcy Boadih of Rumford.  Cherished grandmother of Thadeus Leomensah, Thaden Leomensah, Thadea Leomensah, Kofi Dwumah, Mya Dwumah, Adalyn Boadih, Xavier Boadih, Quinn Boadih, Elijah Boadih, Silas Boadih, and Isabella Boadih.  She was the sister of Atta Appiah Asamoah, of London, United Kingdom. 

Friends may call on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from the hours of 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the Home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 P.M. in the Barrington Presbyterian Church, 400 County Road, Barrington, RI.  Following the service, a reception will be held at Riviera Restaurant, 580 N. Broadway, East Providence, RI, at 1:30 P.M. Burial will be private.   

Following the Visitation at the Funeral Home, please proceed directly to the church.
