Diane (Sturtevant) Bennett

Bennett, Diane, 56, of Seekonk, MA, died on April 3, 2014.  Born in Providence, RI on July 18, 1957, she was daughter of the late F. Raymond, Jr. and Carolyn (Cushing) Sturtevant. Diane is survived by her daughter Rachel (Derek) Ward, son Jason (Ashley) Bennett, siblings; Ray (Olive) Sturtevant, Susane (Jon) Platt, Sam (Pauline) Sturtevant, her beloved grandson Wyatt Bennett, nieces & Nephews, James Reynolds, Alex Platt, Caleb, Emily & Nathan Sturtevant and beloved family friend Mark Butterworth.  Until recently Diane was the Paint Department manager at Lowes. Diane was an avid reader, gardener and past Sunday School teacher at Newman Congregational church.  The interment will be private.  A Memorial service will be held on April 12’th, at 11am, in the Newman Congregational Church, 100 Newman Avenue, Rumford, RI.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Diane Bennett, to support cancer research and patient care, may be directed to the  Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
