Diane M. (Lemieux) Elderkin

Elderkin, Diane M. (Lemieux), 67, of Foch Avenue, Seekonk, died Sunday, August 10’th at her home, surrounded by her devoted children. She was the wife of the late Victor E. Elderkin. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Leopold J. and Laura M. (Dufresne) Lemieux. Diane had worked as a Cook for the Seekonk School Dept. and as a Stock Associate for JC Penny before becoming ill with Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Cancer. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She leaves her daughter, Tammy M. Elderkin, her son, Victor E. Elderkin, Jr. a brother Richard Lemieux and his wife, Betty, a sister, Doris Perry and her husband Tony, two grandchildren, Zachary and Jocelyn Walberg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 18’th, at 10:00 AM, in our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 385 Central Avenue, Seekonk, MA.
