Dolores C. Gehrke

Dolores C. Gehrke, 93, of East Providence, died at home on June 23, 2025.  She was the wife of the late Clayton E. Gehrke.  Born in Seekonk, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Khouri and Katherine (Zide) Khouri.

Mrs. Gehrke was employed as a jewelry worker with Money Jewelry of Providence until her retirement.  She was a Communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

She enjoyed walking, reading, and spending time with family.

She leaves her loving sons, James E. Gehrke & his wife Phyllis Buco of East Providence and Steven J. Gehrke of Pawtucket.  She was the mother of the late Thomas Gehrke.  Cherished grandmother of Jesse Gehrke , Thomas Gehrke, Kelzey Gehrke, Peter Buco, Michael Gehrke, Derek Gehrke, and the late Kenneth Schindelwig.  Great-grandmother of Autumn, Penelope, Tianna, and Jasper.  She was the sister of the late Effie Hallal, Eugene Khouri, Taft Khouri, Anthony Khouri, John Khouri, and Geroge Khouri.

Her Committal Service will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.  Relatives and friends are invited and asked to meet at the administration building parking lot at 11:45 AM prior.
