Donald B. Girvan

Donald B. Girvan, 73, of Rumford, died February 6, 2026 surrounded by his loving family at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.  Born in Providence, he was as on of the late James C. Girvan and Mary L. (Decatur) Girvan.   

Mr. Girvan was a 1971 graduate of East Providence High School and a 1975 graduate of Bryant College where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality.  He was a Communicant of Church of the Epiphany in Rumford.  

He leaves his loving siblings, Robert D. Girvan, Susan G. Hindley (Charlie), and Judith G. LaCross (John).  Cherished uncle of Stephen Troy (Kristen), Kristen Segal (Martin), Erin Logue (Ryan), Ashley Driscoll (Kevin) and Allison LaCross (Pablo) and ten grandnieces & nephews. 

His Requiem Eucharist will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Church of the Epiphany, 1336 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford.  Burial will follow in Rumford Cemetery, Greenwood Avenue, Rumford.   Calling hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Church of the Epiphany.
