Please post with Ed’s obituary

I think of you often, Jeff, as you move through this process of grief.  I want to let you know that this Sunday (8/2) will be our (virtual)summer communion service.  As we always do, I will name those members who have died since our last communion which was on Pentecost.  The three are Jack Schempp, Stanley Sorrentino and your own dear Ed.  They will be named at the very end of the Word of Fellowship...  The service will be up on our YouTube channel by worship time on Sunday morning.

What a wonderful obituary, showing all his Educational accomplishments and what a gifted Educator Ed was. He was a wonderful and kind gentleman. I had great travels and memories with Ed and Jeff and I am sure he will be greatly missed. I am sorry I hadn’t seen him in a while. May you Rest In Peace Ed.

I had the pleasure to have Ed as my teacher at Bainbridge - Guilford (Class of 77) and he was an integral part of my decision to further my education and ultimate career as a Business Teacher for 33 years. Treasured our friendship and was hopeful to be able to see him sometime in the near future. Will always have great memories of Ed.

Ed. I am sad that you will not be at our 50th high school. We were so looking forward to it. I remember renewing our friendship several years ago when you came to a function at my church, First Congrgational Church of Warwick. May you Rest in Peace and watch over your partner while you are apart from each other.

I taught with Ed at BG high school in the 70’s . We had so much fun. His room was next to mine and he and I and Kevin Finnigan and a few other feisties reveled in our youth and in what was, I realize now, a golden era in teaching. I visited him in RI , still have the bookmark he brought me from London, and remember his love of silver spoons. My condolences
