Edward C. Richmond

Richmond, Edward C., husband of Blanche L. (Olson), died Sunday Nov. 10'th, at  his home.  Born in Rehoboth, he was son of the late Harold T. and Amy (Pierce) Richmond.  Mr. Richmond was a WW II Army Ranger Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient.  He worked for many years as an Insulator in the construction field.  Ed was a member of the Vasa Organization of America and the American Legion in Rehoboth.  Besides his wife, he leaves daughters Sue DiFruscio (Joe), Beth Richmond (Gail), granddaughters Dawn and Laura DiFruscio, and siblings, Edna and Russell Richmond.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16'th from 10-11AM, in Saint James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington.  A Memorial Service with Military Honors will follow, beginning at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to RI District #3 Scholarship Fund.
