Frank L. Dawley, Jr., 80, of Cranston, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on August 25, 2021. He was the loving husband of Janice H. (Kaplan) Dawley. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank L. Dawley, Sr. and Mabel W. (Durfee) Dawley.
Frank owned and operated the family business, Dawley’s Spa of Providence for many years. He was a talented and gifted artist and an avid music lover and collector. His love of art and music have carried over to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And, last but not least, he had a crazy sense of humor. We will miss him so.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving children, Carole Dawley Corio and her husband, David, of Westlake Village, California, Susan Dawley Machado and her husband, Tony, of Rumford, Rhode Island and the late Frank L. Dawley, III. Cherished grandfather of Christian Corio and his wife, Julia, Hunter Corio, Chantal Shea and her husband, Brian, Chelsea Brown and her partner, Bradford Yates and great-grandfather of Isabella and Corinne Shea. He was the brother of Lydia Koczwanksi of Coventry.
Private services were held with interment in the Rumford Cemetery Columbarium. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
Arrangements in the care of the Home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI.
