Harriett A. (Soderlund) Nye

East Providence Nye, Harriett A., 101, wife of the late William E. Nye, died on Monday, Dec 15'th. Born in East Providence, she was daughter of the late John and Mary (Cole) Soderlund. Mrs. Nye was the oldest member of the East Providence Senior Center and she had received many accolades for her volunteerism in the community. She leaves her daughters, Martha Znosko (Michael) and Ruth Harper, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Calling hours are Saturday from 11-1:00 PM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO.Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the RI Shriners, 1 Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI 02905.
