I was very sad to recently learn of Joe’s passing. He was such an asset to the entire community during his years in Ironwood. I got to know him during his years with Gogebic Mechanical and my Father, Lyle, always had the utmost respect for Joe, professionally and personally. My sincere condolences.

It’s hard to know you from the miles and long distance even to talk to your grandpa. As your grandson loving you and missing you is extra hard. Hard enough to miss you your grandmother brother and mother and now you grandpa I will be strong hopefully when my day ready I will see you again in heaven. Grandpa I will miss you dearly

My condolences to the Poor Family. Just yesterday I was thinking about Joe. I also worked at Gogebic Mechanical in Ironwood. Joe and I started work with in a few months apart. Joe a veteran of the plumbing & heating and myself fresh out of college. Joe was a good teacher and mentor for me. The one trait that defined Joe would be his generosity and willingness to help anyone. A truly wonderful person.
