Kenneth Armstrong Obituary

Armstrong, Kenneth Carmi, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the age of 78 after a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 25, 1936, Ken lived in Rehoboth, Mass. during his childhood, and then moved to East Providence where he spent his entire working career at Munroe Dairy. He was predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Robert E. Armstrong, his brother Theodore R. Armstrong, his sister, Shirley M. Fox. He is survived by one brother, Robert C. Armstrong, Sr. his nephews, Robert C. Armstrong, Jr., William Fox, Jr., his nieces, Susan K. Armstrong, Karen McDonald, Susan Maes and Linda Breault. He was happiest working with his family and friends at the dairy and spending time at his farm in New Hampshire. Ken enjoyed traveling and visited Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Aruba and wherever he traveled, Ken made many friends. He was a small man with a big heart. A funeral service and celebration of Ken's life will be held on Monday, Jan. 12'th at 11:00 AM, in the Rehoboth Congregational Church, 139 Bay State Rd., Rehoboth. Calling hours are Sunday, 4-7 PM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial will be in the Rehoboth Cemetery.
