Laura N. DiFruscio, 38, of Seekonk, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a loving daughter of Joseph DiFruscio, Jr. and Sue E. (Richmond) DiFruscio of Seekonk. She was the adored granddaughter of the late Edward and Blanche Richmond and Joseph and Pasqualina DiFruscio.
Laura was a graduate of South Coast Educational Collaborative. She was active with Cooperative Productions of Norton for 16 years and participated in swimming for the Special Olympics.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her loving sister, Dawn DiFruscio and her brother-in-law Armando Botelho of Seekonk. She was the cherished aunt of Gianna Botelho of Seekonk. She was the niece of Beth Richmond and her wife Gail of East Providence, Vincent and Francine DiFruscio of Riverside, and the late Robert and Elaine DiFruscio.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 11:00-12:00 P.M. in St. James Lutheran Church, 29 Middle Highway, Barrington with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 P.M. Burial in Rumford Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036 will be appreciated.
