Lynette A. Whitford

Lynette A. Whitford, RN, 75, of Attleboro, died April 13, 2025 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Howard L. Whitford, Jr. and Isabelle (Daggett) Whitford.

Lynette was a graduate of Pawtucket Memorial School of Nursing.  She was a Registered Nurse with Pawtucket Memorial Hospital and with SurgiCare of Providence until her retirement.   She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She leaves her loving siblings: Peter L. Whitford and his wife Mae of Manchester, TN, Richard Whitford and his wife Gail of Seekonk, and her sister-in-law Carol Whitford of Seekonk.  She was the sister of the late Flora A. Tierney and Roger Whitford.  Cherished aunt of William Tierney, Steven Tierney, Mark Tierney, Amanda Ledford, Amy Paananen, Roger A. Whitford, Kent Whitford, Dawn Lynette Ghiorse, Tracy Whitford, and several great-grand nieces & nephews. 

Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. in the Home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence.  Burial will follow in Rehoboth Village Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 will be appreciated.
