Manuel V. Silva

Manual V Silva 92 of East Providence, Rhode Island passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on January 7, 2025. He was the husband of the late Mariana (Caetano) Silva. 

Manny was born in Faial, Azores the son of the late Jose and Elvira (Vieira) DaSilva. He worked for American insulated wire before retiring. He was a member of the Portuguese sporting club of Providence.  He enjoyed fishing playing cards and his daily trips to Dunkin’ Donuts. 

Manny is survived by his two children  Fatima Terra (Armenio) of Florida and Antonio Da Silva (Susan) of East Providence He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren

He was the brother of Eduino DaSilva, Aida Matos, Humberta Silva, Maria DaSilva, and Maria Faraz all of East Providence Maria Fernandes and Olga Sarmento of Canada and the late Lucia Costa  

He has also survived by many nieces and nephews
