Marie Arundale

Marie "Lucy" (DaCruz) Arundale, 83, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 2, 2022. She was the beloved wife of William J. Arundale and they recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Arundale was born in Portugal jn to the late Jose and Rosa DeJesus (Marques) DaCruz.

She enjoyed over fifty years of working in the cosmetology field but was most passionate about instructing her cosmetology students. Marie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed attending bingo with her friends, volunteering at her church and helping people.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Donna Houle of Las Vegas, NV, James Baptista of Providence, JoAnne Cavanaugh of Coventry, Lisa Furtado of Pawtucket and Dolly Nichols of Charlestown, IN. Her grandchildren Derek Dutchover, Gregg Dutchover, Joseph W. Furtado, Jonathan Furtado, Cassie Polus, Cody Nichols, Daisy Nichols and Victoria Cavanaugh, and her seven great-grandchildren.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday February 6th from 5 to 7 pm in Home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI.

Funeral will be held on Monday at 8:30 am in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary Church, Pine St. Pawtucket. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
