Martha York (Jones) Tourtellot

Martha Y. (Jones) Tourtellot, 94, of Rumford, died peacefully on March 18, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.  Born in Quincy, MA, she was a daughter of the late George W. Jones & Rosamond (York) Colby. 

Ms. Tourtellot worked as a draftsman with the Raytheon Corporation for many years until her retirement.  She was a talented artist and avid gardener. 

She leaves her loving sister, Nancy R. Stevens of Rumford.  She was the sister of the late Norman Jones, George A. Jones, & Robert J. Jones.  She was the aunt of Joan Anderson of Rumford, Nancy S. LaVallee of Rumford, Peter Jones of New Hampshire, Steven Jones of New Hampshire, William Jones of New Hampshire, Beverly DiSabatino of New Jersey, Andrea Probst of Indiana, and many grand -nieces & nephews. 

Private funeral services were held in the Chapel of Hope & Memory at Swan Point Cemetery.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.  Arrangements have been entrusted to J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, Route 44, East Providence.
