Marvin "Bob" Bernklau

Bernklau, Marvin "Bob", 81, husband of Jane (MacInnis) Bernklau, died Monday, Jan. 13'th. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was son of the late Samuel and Minnie Bernklau.

Mr. Bernklau was a Korean War Navy Veteran. He worked, for many years, as a sporting goods salesman and was an avid Giants and Yankees fan.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children; Amy, Shari and Steven Bernklau, Mary Lynn Wild, Christina Gilbert, Melissa Sullivan, Stacy Haskell and 12 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16'th, at 11:00 AM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Interment will follow in the Rehoboth Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI  02904.
