Maureen S. Yuski

Maureen S. (Oliver) Yuski, 79, of Riverside, died on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Michael P. Yuski. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family.

She was predominantly a homemaker later in life, but she had in her younger years worked in various establishments in the East Providence area as a waitress and bartender. From the 1970s to the early 1990s, she was an avid bowler and enjoyed being a part of different leagues at the East Providence Lanes. She enjoyed working on puzzle books and loved all things Mickey Mouse. What may surprise many is that she was a huge fan of wrestling; what will not surprise anyone is how much she loved her flowers.

She leaves her loving sons, Joseph M. Yuski and his wife Melissa of Rumford and Robert A. Yuski of Riverside, along with her devoted grandson Robert M. Yuski and his companion Allison Corbeil of Riverside, granddaughter Alicia Yuski of Corpus Christi, Texas, and grandson Kevin Veyera of Riverside. She is survived by her brother William “Bill” Oliver and his wife Betty of Greeley, Colorado.  

She was also preceded in death by her parents Donald H. and Helen M. (Cahill) Oliver of Riverside, sisters Patricia A. (Oliver) Ketchem of Providence, and Grace M. (Oliver) Richardson of Chepachet, and brother Donald “Skip” Oliver of New Hampshire.

Her family appreciates Home Health & Hospice Care of Nursing Placement for the wonderful care they provided during her time of need. It was appreciated beyond words.
