Michael Vartanian Obituary

Michael Vartanian, 93, of Seekonk, died peacefully on December 2, 2024. He was the loving husband of Madeline S. (Pisarczyk) Vartanian for over 60 years.  Born in Pawtucket at home with his twin, he was a son of the late Asadoor and Mary (Severian) Vartanian.

Mr. Vartanian was a salesman with Sears Automotive for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church in Providence.   

A veteran of the armed forces, Michael proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.   

He loved sports, cars, Armenian and Italian food and spending time with family. He also enjoyed dogs of every kind, especially Nitro, Rags, Chip, Reese and Jack. Michael loved taking care of people as he always put others before himself.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving son, Christopher M. Vartanian of Orlando, FL.  He was the brother of the late Rose Wroe, Vartan Vartanian, twin-brother of the late Vahan Vartanian, and brother-in-law of Barbara Vartanian of Woburn, MA and Kathy Ferreira and her husband Tony of Rehoboth, MA.  He also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews.  

Private funeral service will be held in the Home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., East Providence, RI.
