Muriel L. Tainsh

Muriel L. Tainsh, 75, of Rumford, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2023 at Steere House. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Alexander G. Tainsh and Florence M. (Skillings) Tainsh.

Muriel was employed as an import manager with Klitzner Industries for 41 years and lead cashier with Town Wine and Spirits over 30 years. She was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, East Providence.

She leaves her loving children, Dawn-Marie Hill of Warren and Mark R. Vittorioso of Johnston. She was the sister of John Tainsh and his wife Marcia of Riverside, and the late Arthur C. Tainsh, George A. Tainsh, Margaret L. Tainsh and Murrine (Penny) L. Watson. She also leaves her grandchildren, Brendan, Kaelen, Allison and Gianna and many loving nieces and nephews. We find peace knowing that she will be reunited with her beloved dogs Jared and Heidi.

Her Requiem Eucharist will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 81 Warren Avenue, East Providence. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Village Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
