Orson W. Black

Black, Orson W., 74, husband of Cynthia H. (Reynolds), died on Saturday, May 10'th, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ray S. and Barbara (Hutchinson) Black and was a life-long resident of East Providence. For many years, until his retirement, Mr. Black worked as a Biomedical Electrical Technician at RI Hospital. Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Christopher S. Black (wife Elisabete), 3 grandchildren and a brother Vaughn Black. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 5/15, at 10:00 AM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Calling hours are Wednesday, 5-8PM. Memorial gifts may be directed to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
