Patricia (Patty) Ann Pierce, 69, died March 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Norma (Johnson) Pierce.
Patty worked in various buyer/purchasing roles until her retirement from Econocorp. If she was outside, she was happy. Whether it was going for another adventure on her motorcycle, just enjoying the sun, going for a hike, or having a picnic, if it was nice out, so was she. Her favorite way of describing herself was a “poor, simple farm girl”.
She leaves her brothers Robert H. Jr., Arthur and his partner John, and her sister Susan and her husband Bob along with several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother William (Bill) and her sister Sharon.
She leaves behind treasured family and friends that will truly miss her smile and energy. She also leaves behind her best friend and companion, Maggie Mae, her miniature pincher.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Home of J.H. Williams & Co., 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI. Calling hours are from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Rose Monahan Hospice House (VNA CARE), Fund Development Office, 100 TradeCenter Suite G-500, Woburn, MA 01801 will be appreciated.
