Raymond L. Bass, Jr., 63, of East Providence, died January 17, 2022. He was the loving husband of Kathleen A. (Bruhn) Bass. Born in Providence, he was a son of Barbara A. (Martin) Bass of Providence and the late Raymond L. Bass.
Ray was employed as a security guard for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Zion Gospel Church. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves his loving children: Melissa L. Bass and her husband Jeffrey Cruz of Riverside, Michael R. Bass of Riverside, Joshua P. Bruhn and his wife Rebekah of North Kingstown, Peter Pollino, Jr. and his wife Fedra of North Dakota, and Kellie A. Pollino of East Providence. Cherished grandfather of Vincent Seal, Isabella Seal, Jaxson Bruhn, Cora Bruhn, Logan Pollino, Atlas Pollino, and Perseus Pollino. He also leaves many siblings, nieces, and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. in Zion Gospel Church, 90 Leonard Avenue, East Providence. Burial will follow in Rumford Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Zion Gospel Church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Zion Gospel Church will be appreciated.
