Richard D. “Uncle Red” Cole, Jr., 85, of Barrington, died peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Warren Center. Born in Seekonk, Ma, he was the son of the late Richard D. Cole, Sr. & Ruth M. (Stansfield) Cole.
Mr. Cole worked in international sales with the Davol Rubber Company for 48 years until his retirement. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends, air shows, trucks, motorcycles, sports cars, and was an ace mechanic. He leaves his loving nieces: Karen E. Biernacki (John) of Cumberland, Elaine R. Hill (Bob) of Barrington, & Valerie A. Saunders of Barrington. He was the grand-uncle of two grand nieces and one great-grand nephew. He was the brother of the late Florence E. Saunders.
His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 10:30 am in J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial in Spring Vale Cemetery will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
