Goff, Richard W., Sr., 82, husband of the late Margaret E. (Vigneault), died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9'th. Born in Rehoboth, he was the son of the late Earl N.,Sr. and Barancia F. (Bailey) Goff. Mr. Goff was a proud US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the V.F.W. since 1968 and the AMVETS since 1990. Before his retirement, he worked for many years as a Rural Letter Carrier and was a member of the Rural Letter Carrier's Assoc. Mr. Goff was a past 50 year member of the Anawan Grange # 221 P. of H. He was a past member of the Rehoboth Fire Department and was a Lieutenant there for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Goff Gathering Assoc. He leaves his loving family, sons; Richard, Jr. and David Goff, daughters; Diane Kennedy and Judith Calderara, brothers; Earl N., Jr. and Vernon B. Goff, Sr., 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was greatgrandfather of the late Kendrah Kennedy. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14'th, at 11:00 AM, in the Rehoboth Congregational Church, 139 Bay State Rd., Rehoboth. Calling hours are Wednesday, from 4-7 PM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial will be in the Rehoboth Village Cemetery.
