Robert J. Arruda

Robert John Arruda, 76, passed away April 18, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.       
He was born September 1, 1943 to Charles Arruda and Rose {Fontes} Arruda.  He grew up in Fox Point.
Robert was employed by the City of Providence starting as a garbage collector and retiring as Carpenter for Public Properties.  He retired at the age of 51.
Bob had many interests.  Fishing, hunting. boats, Hot Rods and riding his John Deere Tractor.  He was also a serious collector.
He had lived in East Providence for 52 years, since his marriage to Adrienne J (Doherty) Arruda.
He loved his children, Lisa B Pucino, married to Michael,of Seekonk Ma. and Robert W. Arruda, married to Kerri of East Providence.
He adored his Grandchildren, Bethany Pucino and Logan Arruda.
Due to current situations, services will be Private.   A gathering will be held at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation would be appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J.H. Williams & Co. Funeral Home.
