Robert “Bob” Morris, 78, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 22, 1946, to Edward and Rita (Dyson) Morris, Bob was a lifelong Rhode Islander who attended Tolman High School. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy, dedicating himself to his country with honor and integrity.
A skilled plumber by trade, Bob was also a man of many passions. He had a deep love for antique cars, a thrill for riding dirt bikes, and above all, a lifelong devotion to the game of hockey. Over the course of 53 years, he played, coached, and inspired countless teammates and players. A devoted Boston Bruins fan, Bob laced up his skates for the final time just three weeks before his passing. Bob was grateful to be part of a large hockey family and he cherished his many longtime friendships both on and off the ice.
Bob was a beloved father to Daniel Morris of Seekonk, MA, Kathryn Goff (Josh) of Rehoboth MA, and Lauren Bentley (Steven) of Tampa, FL. Cherished grandfather to Veda Bentley, Alba Bentley, Thatcher Bentley, Norah Goff, Fiona Morris, and Thomas Goff. Former husband of Patricia Morris of Rehoboth, MA.
