Roque Heramia

Roque Heramia, 96, of East Providence, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 5, 2019. He was the husband of the late Martha A. (Hyatt) Heramia. Born in Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines, he was the son of the late Lorenza Heramia.

Mr. Heramia was employed as the head chef at Rhode Island Hospital for many years until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He leaves his loving children: Ernest R. Heramia & his wife Cynthia of Hillsboro, OR, Justine L. Michaud & her husband Thomas of Foreston, MN, his step-daughter, Eleanor M. Kashmanian & her husband Gerald of East Providence. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Michaud of Indiana, IN & Joshua Michaud of Foreston, MN.

His funeral & burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence.
