Brown, Russell Horton, 80, of Warren, died February 17, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Claire M. (Skuce) Brown. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late James Brown & Gladys (Horton) Brown.
Mr. Brown worked as a Truck Driver for many years, retiring from the former J.B. Travis Lumber Co. of Swansea. He proudly served in the Army National Guard.
Besides his wife, he leaves his three loving daughters: Diane M. Diogo & her husband Antonio of Bristol, Debra C. Brown of Warren, & Donna J. Brown of Warren. He was the cherished grandfather of Laurie A. Diogo, Michelle D. Diogo, Michael R. Diogo, & Joseph A. Diogo, all of Bristol.
Relatives & friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. His Funeral & Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Warren Rescue will be appreciated. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Warren Police Department, Warren Rescue, Absolute Oxygen, & VNA of Newport & Bristol County for their kindness.
