Sandra L. Orr

Sandra L. Orr, 64, of Fairhaven, MA, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving sons on January 23, 2025.   Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Richard D. Leiter and Dorothy H. (Farrell) Leiter.

Sandra was employed as a social worker with High Point Treatment Center for many years until her retirement.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Fairhaven, MA and the Rehoboth Congregational Church.   

She leaves her loving sons, Christian R. Orr & his wife Ellen of Fairhaven and Matthew A. Orr of Fairhaven.  Cherished grandmother of Ember G. Orr and Desmond J. Orr of Fairhaven.  She was the sister of Jacqueline M. Bjorkman of Rehoboth, MA.  

Her Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM in The First Congregational Church, 34 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA.  A potluck luncheon will follow at 12:00 PM in the church fellowship hall.

Burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery will be private.
