Stephen Haskell Obituary

Stephen W. Haskell, 80, of Rehoboth, died April 14, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Sheridan) Haskell.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Weston C. Haskell and Constance M. (McKenney) Haskell.

Stephen was employed as salesman for many years until his death.   He proudly served as Lieutenant of the Rehoboth Fire Department, Chairman of the Rehoboth Ambulance Committee, and member of the Rehoboth Rescue Squad.  He was a Communicant of Grace Episcopal Church in Providence where he previously served as Senior Warden.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving children: Mark S.W. Haskell and his wife Stacy of Rehoboth, Meredith L. Khoury and her husband Jordan of Swansea, and Heather C. Cerra and her husband John of North Kingstown.  Cherished grandfather of Cooper M.H. Khoury, USMC of Swansea, Hunter W. Haskell of Rehoboth, Kaitlyn M. Cerra of North Kingstown, Aidan J. Haskell of Rehoboth, and Stephen J.H. Khoury of Swansea.  He was the brother of the late Susan J. Anderson and William H. Coburn.

His Requiem Eucharist will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in Grace Episcopal Church, 300 Westminster St, Providence, RI.  Burial will follow in Rehoboth Village Cemetery.  

Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
