Virginia Taylor Obituary

Virginia B. (Goff) Taylor, 74, of Rehoboth, died peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020. She was the loving wife of 54 years to the late Robert L. Taylor. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. Goff & Edith F. (Sherman) Goff.

Ginny worked at Morton Hospital for 30 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse and the Taunton VNA Adult Daycare before retiring. She was a member of the Rehoboth Congregational Church. Generous with her time, thoughtful gifts and various creative talents, she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone seeking it. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many.

She leaves her loving daughter, Naomi G. Fears & her husband Gary of Sagamore. She was the mother of the late Neal A. Taylor. Cherished grandmother of Matthew A. Taylor & his wife Stephanie, Christopher M. Taylor, their mother Deborah (Ryan) Taylor of Riverside, and great-grandmother of Brooke Taylor & Oliver Taylor. She was the sister of Lorna Bernardino. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, & her Godchild, Christine Walken.

Her Graveside Service in Rehoboth Village Cemetery will be private. Friends & family are invited to a celebration of life that will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. Gifts in her memory to the Rehoboth Congregational Church, 139 Bay State Rd, Rehoboth, MA 02769 will be appreciated.
