CUNDY, WILLIAM C. "BILLY" passed away on June 3rd. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Dolloff) Cundy. Born in Providence, he was son of the late James and Ellen (Barlow) Cundy. Mr. Cundy served his country in the US Navy during World War 2. He later worked for many years as a Supervisor at Washburn Wire in East Providence. He was a Past Master of Rising Sun Lodge of Masons and was a member of Haven United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer. Pa, as he was affectionately know by all, spent a lot of his time sharing his love of sports with children of all ages. Besides his wife, he leaves 2 daughters, Kathleen Fernandes, husband Roland, Cynthia Tudino, husband Michael, grandchildren: Nicole Kudarauskas, Amber Davis, Tiffany Mathewson, Stacey LaFreniere, Jesse Davis and 10 great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Ellen Davol. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 8th at 11:30 AM in the Haven United Methodist Church, 200 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Calling hours are Sunday, 4-7 PM, in the J.H.WILLIAMS & CO. Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rumford Cemetery, Rumford.
