William T. Hicks

William T. Hicks, 72, of Chepachet, died February 5, 2019.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas J. Hicks, Jr. & Edna F. (Cummings) Hicks. 

Mr. Hicks was a contractor in the paving industry for many years until his retirement.  He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, especially Wood River & Stafford Pond in Rhode Island.  

He leaves his two sons: William T. Hicks, II of Rumford & Scott L. Hicks & his wife Jean of Rumford.  Cherished grandfather of Leah Hicks.  He was the brother of Sharon L. Puerini of West Warwick, Mark S. Hicks, Crystal A. Bockes of East Providence, & Timothy J. Hicks of Seekonk. 

His funeral and burial will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.  Arrangements have been entrusted to J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME.
